Swensen has managed a number of large construction projects, done claims analysis for litigation support, provided support to insurance adjustors for earthquake damage and other projects requiring analysis, investigation and estimating. He holds a civil engineering degree from Cornell University and is a Registered Civil Engineer in California.

Herbert J. Dix, Vice President

Dix joined the firm in 1982 bringing expertise in instrumentation design and installation. At VHS he has added remedial design and project administration to his skills. He holds multiple degrees from Northwestern University and is a Registered Engineer in California, Illinois and Nevada.

Richard K. Feldman, Assistant Vice Pres.

Feldman's VHS experience includes cost and schedule analysis, purchasing and international shipping, project administration, claims consulting and records management. He holds a degree from UC San Diego and is an instructor in AGC's Supervisory Training courses in Communications and Planning and Scheduling.

Swensen holds a civil engineering degree from University of Illinois and is a licensed California contractor and a Certified Construction Estimator. As an AGC Education Committee member he is very active in training programs, including authoring and instructing classes in Estimating.
